Today: I didn’t write yesterday, because I was too busy making the most sumptuous, scrumptious, salty, gooey, crunchy, hot vegetarian reubens for our slumber party at Stephanie’s house. We spend the hours proceeding on Chatroulette, playing dress up, talking grammar, cameras, futures, and hot hot men.
I made them to celebrate Ines’s promotion at the Korea Times. But I think I made them to say I love you, too. I can’t really express how lucky I am that these three girls, from odd ends of the states, all ended up coming into my life when I needed them most. Sassy, intelligent, confident, comfortable. It’s like Fred says, it’s kind of like Sex and the City. I never felt so welcome in a place so strange.
Today I Learned: You can shake, shake the ketchup bottle, first none will come, then a lot’ll ( the best only good line in Kate and Leopold)
